In 1996, Meyer received a B.A. from Yale University with a distinction in art and studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. He has had many solo shows including at he Joseph Slifke Center at Yale, Hebrew College in Newton, Massachusetts and the Philadelphia Museum of Jewish Art and particpated in numerous group shows including at the San Diego Art Institute in 2003.

Meyer has won several prestigious awards including the BronfmanYotzma Fellowship, the Trumbull Fine Arts Award and the Visiting Artist Award at the Berkshire Institute for Music and Arts at which he now serves on the Steering Committee and Board of Directors.

His art has been favorable reviewed in many publicatins including the Jewish Advocate, the New York Sun, the Boston Globe and the Jewish TImes. He lives with his wife and two children in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
