Elena Vilchukova was born in Sevastopol, Crimea, Ukraine in 1979. From 1990 to 1994, she studied at the Crimean Children’s Art School in a program reserved for exceptionally talented children. She then attended the Crimean Art College named for Samokish, 1994-1999. Following her graduation in 1999, she was accepted into the Kharkov Academy of Design and Arts, where she completed the rigid six year program in five years. While at the Academy, Vilchukova majored in monumental painting. She won top academic honors and received the titles of “Specialist” and “Master”.

The talented artist began exhibiting in 2003 in local, regional and national shows. In 2007, she became a teacher of painting and drawing at the Sevastopol branch of the Crimean Art College.

She lives, works and paints in Sevastopol.
