Aleksander Britsev was born in Donetsk, Ukraine in 1984.
He graduated from the Children’s Art School – a school reserved for exceptionally talented children – in 1999. He attended the Donetsk Art College from 2000 to 2005 at which he studied easel painting. Following his graduation from the art college, he gained acceptance in the Kharkov Academy of Design and Arts, from which he graduated in easel painting in 2011. He was selected to study in the studio of Honored Artist of Ukraine professor Viktor Chaus.
