Mark Chatterley creates large scale sculptural ceramic pieces. He focuses primarily on the figure, with a metaphysical theme. Each piece is unique with a surface ranging from a shiny metallic to a crusty texture reminiscent of rusted metal or weathered stone. Bronze castings are also available.
Chatterley’s pieces are in many collections including: Kresge Art Museum, Michigan State Univeristy; James Wallace Trust, Aukland, New Zealand; Mr. & Mrs. Broyhill, Lenoir, North Carolina; Foremost Insurance Company, Grand Rapids, Michigan; Fries and Fries, Cincinnati, Ohio; East Lansing City Hall, East Lansing, Michigan; Monroe Comunity College, Monroe, Michigan.
